We’re Carl & Isabel - and we love motorbikes!
Our story…
Our love of motorbikes brought us together in 2014. Early tours were with a Yamaha MT09 Tracer and a Triumph Tiger 800. We both now ride Yamaha Ténéré 700s, or T7s, as they are affectionately known. These are the bikes we are riding around the world…
So far, we’ve travelled through…
… After all of the UK and most parts of Europe, it was time to launch out to Alaska, Canada, the USA, Central and South America. We even landed on Antarctica - but without the bikes. Quick hop over to South Africa and a circular route through 8 countries, then it was time for the 6th continent…
Getting to the start was anything but smooth sailing
In 2018, Isabel was diagnosed with breast cancer - which meant putting all our adventure plans on hold. After treatment and a long period of recovery, Isabel was back on the bike in 2019 - and wrote a book about her cancer journey too.
And so the big adventure continues!
2023 is the year we kicked off our world tour! We packed up the T7s and shipped them off to Alaska for the first leg of our round-the-world motorbike trip. Thank you for being part of this community and supporting our travels. Watch this space!
